2008: CROSS COUNTRY: Recorded a season-best 8k time at the Bradley Classic (26:42). Finished 31st at the Iowa State Open with an 8k time of 29:27:17. HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letter winner in track and cross country...finished fourth at the state meet in the 800 in 2008 and 2007...finished second at the Mississippi Valley Conference...recorded a personal best of 1:54.01 in the 800...finished third at state in 2008 in the 1600 with a time of 4:21.93...finished 6th in the 1600 at state meet in 2007...claimed the MVC crown in the 1600...finished second at the state meet in 2008 in the 3200...recorded a personal best in the 3200 time of 9:27.77...Finished fourth at the state cross country meet in 2007. Graduated with high honors along with being a member of National Honor Society...Four-year band member, playing the trumpet...Also involved in the National Leadership Youth Solute.
