Panthers Wrap Up Season at Midwest Regionals

STILLWATER, Okla. – The University of Northern Iowa women’s cross country team, led by senior Caedryn Schrunk, finished 17th out of 27 teams at the NCAA Midwest Regionals hosted by Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon. Schrunk finished 38th overall with a 6k time of 22:02.55.
Freshman Danielle Nowasell crossed the finish line second for the Panthers, taking 53rd place overall in a time of 22:22.90. Fellow freshman Carly Olsen finished 92nd, clocking in at 22:53.85. Andrea Wacker finished the race in 23:21.60 for 124th place overall.
Jessa Schweitzer and Jill Lageschulte finished in 23:43.35 and 23:55.75 respectively.
Senior Mike Clancy, the lone Panther men’s runner, finished the men’s 10K race in 34:25.60 for 123rd place overall.
