Vandenabeele Nabs A Spot at NCAA Cross Country ChampionshipsNov. 15, 2009
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – University of Northern Iowa freshman Thibault Vandenabeele earned a place at the 2009 NCAA Cross Country Championships the NCAA announced late Sunday evening.
Vandenabeele took 17th place at the Midwest Regional Championships Nov. 14. The NCAA committee selected four teams from the Midwest region leaving the next two finishers from a non-qualifying team as automatic qualifiers.
The NCAA Cross Country Championships will be held in Terre Haute, Ind. on Nov. 23.
