Cedar Falls, Iowa - Bradley shot 60 percent from the field, including 67 percent in the second half, and posted a 71-49 win over the University of Northern Iowa Wednesday night at the UNI-Dome.

Guard Ben Jacobson (Sioux City, Iowa) had 16 points to lead UNI, while fellow senior Erik Crawford (Oakdale, Minn.) added 15. Bradley was led by Patrick O'Bryant who had 18 points.

Bradley jumped out to an early 17-5 lead over the game's first five minutes. The Braves hit seven of their first nine shots from the field, including three three-pointers. UNI battled back to cut the lead to 28-23 after back-to-back baskets by Eric Coleman (Maplewood, Minn.), but the Braves scored the last four points of the half to take a 32-23 edge into the locker room.

A layup by Grant Stout (New Sharon, Iowa) cut Bradley's lead to 41-37 with 14:37 left in the game, but that was as close as the Panthers would get. Bradley went on an 11-2 run over the next five minutes to open a 52-39 advantage, and UNI never pulled closer than 11 points the rest of the way.

With the win, Bradley improves to 17-9 overall, 10-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference. UNI falls to 22-7 overall, 11-6 in league play. The Panthers close their regular season this Saturday afternoon when they travel to face Southern Illinois. Tipoff is set for 1:05 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
