Recap |  Box Score |  Photo Gallery

  • Bradley Head Coach Jim Les "I'm ecstatic for this group of players. We've had our ups and downs and we've just asked them to keep working hard and buy into what we are doing. What a great opportunity tonight against a top-25 team for them to lay it on the line for 40 minutes. I'm proud of them. We got great contributions from everybody that played tonight."

"To hold (UNI) to 49 points in their own building is great. They can shoot the ball well and I thought we did a good job contesting shots. We handled the ball well and took good shots. We developed another level of confidence to get this done tonight."

"I've got a lot of respect for Greg (McDermott) and his program. I think we just played well and it was about our defense (in the two wins this season)."

  • Bradley Center Patrick O'Bryant "We've still got to finish out the season. We have some hope for the NCAA tournament. We won in their house by more than 20 points for a Top-25 team."

"It's always important to have a good start and keep it on them. So when they make their runs we will still have a cushion."

  • UNI Head Coach Greg McDermott "I'm not sure if we had played well we would have been good enough to beat Bradley tonight. We pride ourselves on starting games strong and starting the second half strong but we didn't do that tonight. I thought Bradley was outstanding tonight."

"(J.J.) Tauai hit two threes early and (Daniel) Ruffin hit one and that forced us to change our game plan in midstream."

"We used some zone to get them out of their flow. After watching tape of them against Missouri State and Tennessee Tech it looked the zone was disrupting their rhythm. But we couldn't do that because they seemed to hit three-pointers when we did that."

"We're not clicking on all cylinders and we will try and fix that. Fortunately we have enough experience and maturity to do that. Unfortunately in the final game in the UNI-Dome we played our worst game at home in five years."

"We let our emotion get in the way of our execution."

  • UNI Forward Grant Stout "We have to get back to playing our style of basketball, which is pounding it inside and then getting our guys going around the perimeter. Our defense and rebounding has to get back to where we were. Teams are outrebounding us and putting up too many points."

  • UNI Guard Erik Crawford "Most games are emotional but with the experience we've got on this team we can't let that emotion take over the game."

"We wanted to finish first but we still have some goals left to accomplish. We have a huge game on Saturday for seeding purposes in the Missouri Valley tournament. The conference tournament will be huge as we get ready for the NCAA tournament."
