Recap |  Final Stats

UNI head coach Ben Jacobson

On Eric Coleman and Jared Josten playing so many minutes:

"That was good experience for Eric and Jared. They've been important to our team for awhile, but it's always been other guys that have taken us down the stretch. So for them to lead us tonight was good experience for them."

On Cal Poly:

"They're a good basketball team. They were hitting threes, and when they're making threes, they're a tough team to play against. That's a game that is definitely going to help us."

On the difference from the first game to the second game of the year:

"We started the game strong, but we weren't quite as intense defensively. We missed some looks in the second half, and you need to hit those shots."

On tomorrow's game with UMass:

"That's going to be a huge challenge for us. Watching them play, you can tell they're a very good team. And they bring back a lot of experience from a team that won 24 games last year.

Cal Poly head coach Kevin Bromley

On tonight's game:

"Tonight was more of a half-court game than last night, and it was hard to get easy baskets on them. It was a great basketball game, and you have to give UNI credit. We had good looks, we just missed some shots. But you can't take anything away from UNI."

On UNI's Eric Coleman:

"He's a heck of a player. He is definitely an all-conference performer."

On his team's performance:

"I'm proud of our team for the way they competed. Our game plan was good, and executed well, but we shot 26 percent in the second half."

On the game tomorrow with Northern Illinois:

"That will be a gut-check tomorrow. We can take a lot of positives from tonight, we just need to get more efficient on offense."
