UNI Head Coach Ben Jacobson

On first conference loss: "This can't be hard to recover from. We need to get over it fast and move onto Southern Illinois, we've got no choice."

On coming back in the second half: "That is what we expect and what our fans expect from our team."

On the play in the first half: "We didn't have in the first half. I have no answer to that either. I hope to find that answer soon.

"They just had too many open shots. We needed to step up and take a charge and we didn't do it. When you're not playing well offensively we needed to make the little plays on defense and we weren't doing that. We have to defend and make tough plays."

On the flow of the game: "I felt with four or five minutes left we were going to win the game. I felt like the guys had the energy level and our defense was playing well. I felt from that point on we had a great chance to win it."

Indiana State Head Coach Kevin McKenna

"We knew this would be a hard fought game. We came out in the first half and hit shots. We knew that UNI would come back in the second half, they are a good team and well coached, but we continued to play throughout the game and came out with the win."

On second chance shots: "We've been getting out-rebounded and it's something we needed to work on. I talked to Carl and have been working with him to get in and go after the boards. Our bench guys gave us a good spark and were battling hard in there to get the rebounds also."
