JUMP BALLS...
- The Panthers have gotten balanced scoring throughout the season. All five starters are averaging at least 9.4 points per game, with the team leader -- point guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe -- averaging 11.4 ppg. Six different players have led UNI in scoring for a game, and four players have scored 20 or more points at least once.

- The Panthers’ 78-54 win over Wichita State Jan. 3 was their largest margin of victory ever over the Shockers in 37 games. It was also UNI’s largest winning margin of the 2008-09 season.

- UNI connected on a season-best 11 three pointers against Wichita State Jan. 3, shooting a season-best 58 percent (11-for-19). The Panthers hit on 8-of-11 from behind the arc after halftime, led by junior Ali Farokhmanesh, who made five treys in the game and four in the second half.

- Over its last four games, UNI is shooting 50 percent (33-for-66) on three-pointers, including having two games of making 10 or more treys. Junior Ali Farokhmanesh has led the charge, as he has made 12-of-19 from behind the arc over the team’s last four contests. Kwadzo Ahelegbe (5-for-6 from behind the arc), Kerwin Dunham (4-for-5) and Johnny Moran (7-for-16) have also been hot from downtown during the last four UNI games.

- UNI has also gotten impressive play from its bench, especially in its last four games. UNI’s reserves -- Travis Brown, Kerwin Dunham, Lucas O’Rear, Brian Haak and Adam Rodenberg -- are averaging 21.1 points and 13.7 rebounds per game over that span, while shooting 48 percent from the field and 41 percent from three-point range.

- The Panthers have dropped nine straight games to Creighton, and have lost 11 consecutive games played in Omaha. UNI’s last victory over the Bluejays was an 82-73 win in Cedar Falls in the 2003-04 season, while its last victory at Creighton was a 59-56 victory in the 1996-97 campaign.
