Panther Point: After sharing starting duties last year, enters the fall season as the most experienced tight end and should be the mainstay at this position.

2004: Played in all 11 games and started six, sharing the starting role with Andy Thorn...Caught nine passes for 169 yards and one touchdown...Long catch of 26...Season-high two receptions for 48 yards at Northern Arizona...Also recorded four solos and one assisted tackle on special teams.

2003: Saw action in all 13 games, starting seven...Tallied six receptions for 91 yards and one touchdown with a career-long reception of 58...Named UNI offensive player of the game for his efforts at Illinois State when he caught that 58-yarder to put the Panthers up 10-7...Season-best two catches at Western Kentucky...Also recorded eight tackles on special teams, including three solos.

2002: Played in 11 games behind starter Ryan Walter...Caught four passes for 24 yards with a long of 11...Season-best two catches for 20 yards against Southwest Missouri State.

2001: Redshirted.

High School: Earned three letters in baseball and two each in football and basketball...School-record three TD receptions in a single game and most TDs in a season (10)...Shrine Bowl selection...Caught 14 passes for 214 yards as a junior and 36 catches for 560 yards as a senior...Team was 21-4 his last two years, winning two Mississippi Athletic Conference championships...Coached by Randy Scott...Honor Roll...Also recruited by Western Illinois...Chose UNI because he felt comfortable in the atmosphere.
