  • UNI came into the game with the nation's No. 4-ranked offense (407.8 yards/game) and was able to tally 413 yards against Illinois State.

  • Dre Dokes picked off his seventh pass of the season and No. 18 in his UNI career. He is two interceptions short of the UNI record of 20 picks held by Mike Woodley.

  • Corey Lewis earned his sixth 100-plus rushing effort of the season. Lewis rushed 16 times for 113 yards and a touchdown in the win over Illinois State. It was the seventh 100-plus rushing effort of his UNI career.

  • Eric Sanders was 6-of-6 passing in the first half for 98 yards and two touchdowns. However, Sanders was 0-of-3 passing in the second half but did lead the Panthers to a pair of second-half scores.

  • Brian Wingert became the school's all-time leader in field goals when he booted his 60th career field goal at the 6:37 mark of the fourth quarter. Wingert had been tied with Brian Mitchell with 59 three-pointers.

  • Victor Williams threw a touchdown pass and caught a touchdown pass in the contest. Williams finished the day with one catch for 34 yards and one pass for 57 yards. Although the pass only went for 57 yards, it traveled at least 65 yards through the air - and he threw the pass off his back foot.

  • Will Lewis earned his first career start at linebacker and collected eight tackles to rank second on the team.

  • Senior captain Dave Schratz tallied a team-high nine tackles and his first career interception in the win over No. 6-ranked Illinois State.

  • UNI honored 19 seniors prior to the contest.
