Final Stats

Colorado Springs, Colo. -

The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team fired a final round 322 to finish in 15^th place at the 40^th annual Falcon Invitational, hosted by the Air Force Academy.  The tournament was played at the Eisenhower Golf Club, Blue Course.  Colorado State earned the team championship, shooting a 277 on the final day to defeat runner-up UNLV by 11 shots.

Troy Hoffman was UNI's top individual finisher, shooting 75 in the final 18 holes to finish with a 221 total, which tied him for 34^th place.  Colorado State's Bryce Hanstad earned medalist honors after shooting a five-under par 67, winning the individual title by three shots.

UNI is back in action Sept. 15-16, when it travels to Lawrence, Kan., to play in the Kansas Invitational.
