2004: Outdoor - Redshirted. Indoor - Competed at the UNI Invitational where he finished seventh in the 800 meters in 2:00.69 and 13th in the 600 meters in 1:24.46... Captured 10th place at the UNI-Dome Open with a 2:00.19 performance in the 800 meters... Finished 17th in the 800 meters at the Wisconsin Relays with a 2:02.21 time... Recorded his best time in the 800 meters, 1:58.70, at the ISU Classic. High School: Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track... Two-time state qualifier in cross country... State track qualifier in 2002 and 2003. Personal: Son of Craig and Susan Cooper... Born 8/21/85... Brother, Nick, ran cross country and track at Drake University... Majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry... Also recruited by Central... Chose UNI because of the good atmosphere. |
