Cedar Falls - The UNI Invitational meet concluded the women's pentathlon and day one of the men's heptathlon events today, January 28, in the UNI-Dome.

Kansas State's Darius Draudvila currently leads the men's Gold competition with 3271 points, with Pat Pyle (unattached) following in second with 3082 points.

UNI's Raven Cepeda (Beloit, Wisc./Beloit) is currently fourth with 2910 points. Danial Grandon finished the day in eight place with 1981 points.

Matt Engebretson (Minnesota) leads the men's purple division with 2727 points, and Matt Piekarski (Marquette) finished with 2582 after four events.

The conclusion of the men's heptathlon events, including the pole vault, 1,000 meters and 60-meter hurdles will conclude tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 29) starting at 10:00 a.m. Field events will also begin at 10:00 a.m., with running events scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
