The a number of UNI's track and field athletes traveled to Indianoloa, Iowa today (April 29) to compete at the Simpson Twilight.

Newcomer Samuel Dodoo made an impressive showing, capturing first place in the 100-meter dash with an 11.09 time and finished 11th in the 200 meters, clocking in at 22.92. Mark Harris captured another first-place finish for the Panthers, winning the 400 meters in 48.33. Freshman Jack Ogden finished the day with a 1:54.39 time in the 800 meters, placing him third, and Chris Lawson finished seventh in the 5,000 meters in 15:06.40.

The Panthers will continue competition at the Drake Relays tomorrow (April 30) in Des Moines Iowa. Results can be viewed as they happen at http://sonic.net/~peterg/drake/quick/ and results will be available at www.unipanthers.com after the events conclude.
