CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa fell to third-seeded Iowa State in the consolation round of the 2008 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals presented by CSG Sports Coatings, 31-3.

UNI redshirt freshman Dustin Bauman secured the lone Panther victory with a 4-2 sudden victory over Iowa State's Joe Curran at heavyweight.

It marked the sixth time this season that UNI has faced off against a top-10 ranked opponent. The Panthers overall mark fell to 1-4-1 on the year.

UNI will be in action next Friday against Wyoming at 7 p.m. in the McLeod Center.
