CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Western Wrestling Conference has announced its All-Academic Team and Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2007-08 season. This year's academic awards will honor 26 student-athletes from the seven conference schools.

Two Panthers were named to the WWC All-Academic team including junior Andrew Anderson, who has a 3.29 GPA in business management, and sophomore Charlie Ettelson, who has a 3.58 GPA in biomedical sciences. Redshirt freshman Dustin Bauman was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.23 GPA in construction management.

To qualify for the All-Academic team, student-athletes had to secure a minimum 3.20 grade point average, be a starter or key reserve and be a sophomore or higher in academic standing. This year's WWC All-Academic squad is comprised of 10 student-athletes.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have maintained a 3.0 grade point average. This year's Commissioner's Honor Roll will honor 16 WWC student-athletes.

The Western Wrestling Conference is comprised of seven schools including the Air Force Academy, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Utah Valley State and Wyoming. The conference formed in April 2006.
