Panther Wrestling Cracks Top 20 in Attendance

UNI drew 5,330 fans to its home dual meets this season in the McLeod Center.

Head coach Brad Penrith's UNI wrestling team finished ranked No. 20 in the nation in home attendance during the 2007-08 season.

The University of Northern Iowa wrestling team finished the 2007-08 season ranked No. 20 in the nation in wrestling attendance with an average of 888 fans per home meet.

UNI totaled 5,330 fans for the season with a high of 1,737 in a dual against the Iowa State Cyclones on Dec. 16, 2007.

UNI wrapped up the 2007-08 season with a dual mark of 7-5-1. The Panthers also finished 20th at the 2008 NCAA Championships, while junior Moza Fay earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish at 165 pounds.
