At UNI: 2004-05: After 25 rounds of play, closed season with an 83.8 stroke average... Shot low round at the Redbird Classic in the third with a 76... Had three rounds in the 70s and earned her top finish at the Hawkeye Intercollegiate, claiming 12th overall. 2003-04: Finished sophomore season with two starts and an 83.6 stroke average after seven rounds of play...Shot her lowest round of 80 at the Big Three Meet, the Notre Dame Invitational and the SCU Colby Invitational...Top finish at the Big Three meet placing 12th overall. 2002-03: Ended her freshman season with an average of 82.7...Competed in all 10 tournaments with four rounds in the 70s ... Shot her career-best round of 74 at the Redbird Invitational. High School: Three-year team captain...Seven-year letterwinner...South Central Conference champion in 1999, 2001 and 2002... Earned all-conference, all-state, and all-state academic honors in 2000, 2001, and 2002...Participated in volleyball, earning all conference and all-state academic... Was also a member of the National Honor Society and student council. Personal: Daughter of Randall and Kim Paa... Born January 15, 1984...Has one brother, Scott (14)... Chose UNI because of the great business school and good athletic program...Was also recruited by Southern Illinois, Wichita State and Southwest Missouri State...Hobbies include being active, shopping and being with friends and family...During the summer was a marketing intern at Citizens Bank in Minnesota... Favorite memory from competing in sports is winning a playoff advancing her to the state tournament her sophomore year of high school...The best lesson she has learned in life so far is that no matter what happens, it was for a reason, even if you don't understand why. |
