Sebring, Fla. - The UNI women's golf team finished play today at Springlake Golf Resort in Sebring. The course stretched over 5,900 yards, a par 72. Methodist University took home first place honors after shooting a 596 as a team, three strokes ahead of second place Lynn University. Top finisher individually was P. Phol-uayporn from Florida Atlantic University. Phol-uayporn carded a 70-73--143.

 

The Panthers finished 10th among the competition. Stef Nelson lead UNI with a 72 on the day and tied for 13th individually. Nelson shot a 150 over the two day tournament. Molly Schemm carded a 76 and finished 29th respectively. Emily Heseman and Brittany Bomar both finished in the top 54.

 

The women will continue their spring tour this Monday and Tuesday as they head to Jacksonville, Fla., for the North/South Intercollegiate Tournament.
