Jacksonville, Fla. - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished in second place today at the North-South Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Panther women finished only four strokes behind first-place Jacksonville.  The women moved up three spots after standing in fifth place after day one.

"We had a good run today," UNI head coach John Bermel said. "Having our top five girls all in the 75 to 80 range, we had a good chance today. We are improving and getting more consistent."

Molly Schemm finished with a score of 75, while Emily Heseman fired a 77 for the Panthers.

The Panthers will be in action again on March 25 when they head to Carbondale, Ill., for the Southern Illinois Tournament.
