Panthers In 2nd On First Day of Missouri State Tournament

After completing day one of the Stef Nelson and Emily Heseman also posted rounds in the 70s, both shooting 78. These scores helped propel the Panthers to a score of 310 and past all the teams except "We played really well today, and the weather couldn't have been better," said coach John Bermel. "It was about 80 degrees with a little wind, so it was perfect." Kim Weber, Ann Arnason, and Brittany Bomar also contributed scores of 80, 86, and 89, respectively.
"We were very competitive today and we have a great chance tomorrow," said coach Bermel." "We just need to go out and play with the same confidence and drive we showed today." Play tomorrow will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shot-gun start. The Panthers will look to take first place for the first time this season.
