Final Stats

Reno, Nevada-- The UNI women's soccer team lost 2-0 late Friday night to Weber State, the 2004 and 2005 Big Sky Conference champs. The Panthers endured flight delays and cancellations on their way to Reno resulting in the game being resceduled to 11:00 p.m.

 

Goals for the Wildcats came in the 27th and 48th minutes. UNI recorded six shots with Jackie Gielau (Denver, Iowa)  recording two of them.  UNI played a total of 18 players in the contest. Krista Thorley (Ajax, Ontario)  was in goal for UNI and had six saves for the night.

 


 

 

The loss puts the Panthers at 0-3.  The women's soccer team next takes on Nevada on Sunday, September 3 with the game starting at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
