Final Stats

UNI FALLS 4-0 TO VALPARAISO

Waterloo, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team fell 4-0 to Valparaiso, Saturday. The Crusaders scored two goals in both halves to earn the 4-0 win over UNI.

The Panthers took just four shots on the day with Gretchen Orcutt (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) and Katie MacBride (River Falls, Wisc./River Falls) tallying shots on goal.

Valpo found the net in the 22nd minute to open a 1-0 lead. The Crusaders put their second goal through in the 38th minute and went into halftime with a 2-0 lead. Their third goal came right out of the gate in the second half, while goal number four in the 87th minute gave them a 4-0 victory.

The Panthers fall to 0-8-0 on the season.

UNI hosts the Panther Invitational next week beginning Sept. 22 against Winona State. Game time is at 5 p.m.
