DES MOINES, Iowa-- The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to Drake, Sunday. Five different Panthers combined for UNI's five shots.

 

Drake put through five goals on the night, each by a different player, and added five assists for a total of 15 points to top UNI. The Panthers finished the game with five shots, including on-goal attempts from Jana Teague (Blue Springs, Mo./Blue Springs), Amy Seubert (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka) and Tiffany Wendel (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston).

 

Heidi O'Mara allowed a season-high five goals, but also stopped a season-high 12 shots, in the loss.

 

The Panthers fall to 4-7-2 on the season 0-2-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Drake improves to 4-6-2 overall, 1-1-0 in the MVC.


 

 

 

The Panthers travel to Missouri State Friday, Oct. 19 to take on the Bears in MVC competition. Game time is at 7 p.m.
