Final Stats

PANTHERS FALL 5-0 TO OKLAHOMA

Norman, Okla--The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team fell 5-0 in a non-conference matchup with Oklahoma. Five different players scored goals for OU.

The Sooners put through goals in the 17th, 18th, 21st, 51st and 84th minutes and held the Panthers to seven total shots, four on goal. OU goalie Jennifer Nichols played all 90 minutes to register the shutout.

Four different Panthers accounted for the four shots-on-goal. Heidi O'Mara (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area) stopped three shots but allowed four goals in just over 76 minutes in goal. Krista Thorley (Ajax, Ontario/J. Clarke Richardson) played the remaining 13 minutes and change in front of the net.

The Panthers fall to 1-15-0 on the season and remain 1-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Oklahoma improves to 7-9-1 overall.

The Panthers host North Dakota State, Sunday at Noon.
