O'HARA, SEUBERT NAMED TO MVC SCHOLAR-ATHLETE TEAM

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa-- University of Northern Iowa women's soccer seniors Jenna O'Hara and Amy Seubert were named to the Missouri Valley Conference's Scholar-Athlete Team, the league recently announced. Both players earned first-team accolades.

O'Hara (London, Ontario/A.B. Lucas) started every game for UNI and was a big part of UNI's much-improved defense this season. The senior has a 3.96 cumulative grade point average and was named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Seven First Team earlier this month.

Seubert (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka) tallied four goals and an assist for UNI this season, and adds a first-team Scholar Athlete nod to her growing list of post-season awards. The senior also was named to the CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Seven First Team, The MVC All-Conference First Team, and the MVC All-Tournament Team. This is Seubert's second MVC Scholar-Athlete award after an Honorable Mention nod last season. Seubert carries a 3.91 cumulative grade point average.
