High School: Was named honorable mention to 2005 all-Mississippi Athletic Conference team and twice was selected to MAC all-academic team (2004, 2005). Earned three varsity letters at Bettendorf under direction of coach Scott Lammers and served as president of school's chapter of Students Against Drunk Driving. Also named to National Honor Society's highest honor roll and served as a counselor through her church. Personal: Born April 6, 1987 in Mason City, Iowa. Daughter of Mike and Jodi Carroll. Majoring in accounting. Favorite movies are "Hoosiers" and "Million Dollar Baby." Lists Mitch Albom's "The Five People you Meet in Heaven" as her favorite book. Father, Mike, played basketball for two years at Rochester Community College. Grandfather, Bob Carroll, played four years of baseball at Seton Hall. Great-grandfather, Owen Carroll, played college baseball at Holy Cross and went on to play professionally for Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers. Following retirement, Owen became head coach at Seton Hall and, upon his death, the university's baseball field was named Owen T. Carroll Field in his honor.
