Position:
Volunteer Assistant Coach

Mandi Daigh will serve as the volunteer assistant coach for the softball team. Daigh joined the staff in 2008.

Daigh played collegiate softball at the University of Nebraska-Omaha from 2004-2005 and at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas from 2005-2007.

At Nebraska-Omaha, Daigh was the starting catcher on a team that won the North Central Conference. At Washburn, Daigh also started at catcher. Daigh batted .287 in 2007 and was top five in runs batted in on her team and second on the team in doubles. She earned second team Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association all-conference honors as a catcher.

Daigh graduated from Washburn in 2008 with a degree in liberal studies. Her sister Mackenzie is a freshman at UNI and is a member of the UNI softball team.
