High School: Five-time varsity letterwinner...Earned four all-academic honors...Named first-team all-conference twice...Second-team all-state catcher senior year...Earned three varsity letters in track and field...Member of 2nd place shuttle hurdle relay that broke school record to earn all-state honors...Also earned one varsity letter in volleyball and was member of state championship team senior year...Member of National Honor Society and SAIL (Students Active in Leadership).
Personal: Daughter of Don and Jacki Embrey...Chose UNI because she liked the campus, softball program and education program...Also recruited by Simpson...Volunteers at the Animal Rescue League...lists hanging out with friends, shopping, sports and having fun as her hobbies...Her mom is her biggest hero because she has been through a lot and has succeeded. |
