High School: Four year letter winner at Sabino High School. Hit a team-leading .440 her junior year and led her team to a first place tie atop the 5A southern Division of Arizona, one of the toughest high school leagues in the nation. Hit .347 with three home runs and 39 RBIs her senior year. Played for the Arizona Roadrunners in the ASA. Posted a 4-0 pitching record with the Roadrunners with an overall record of 18-3. Her combined high school and ASA ERA was 0.94. Personal: Born April 18th 1986 in Tucson, Arizona. Daughter of Steven and Helen Hess. Majoring in Physical Education. Hobbies include playing paintball and hanging out with her friends and family. Her favorite sports team is the San Francisco 49ers and her favorite athlete is USA Softball player Jennie Finch. She enjoys watching the TV show "Alias" and the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." |
