2004: Earned Rookie of the Year and all-conference honors at Buena Vista. Started 28 of 31 games. Hit at a .294 clip with four stolen bases while leading the team in runs scored. Slugged at a .376 percentage with an on-base percentage of .355. Played third base in 2004. High School: Earned all-conference honors in 2002 and 2003 and was team captain in 2003. Team captain of the first SHS women's basketball team to make it to state in 2003. Named most athletic and SHS athlete of the year her senior year. Personal: Born December 12th 1984 in Spencer, IA. Daughter of William and Lisa Salton. Majoring in Criminology. Hobbies include listening to music, playing sports and watching movies.
