Final Stats

The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team improved to 5-0 this season with a 7-0 win over Western Illinois today.

 

            For the fifth time this season, the Panthers were able to win all singles and doubles matches. With the wins today, the Panthers improve to 30-0 overall in dual singles matches and 15-0 overall in dual doubles matches played in the 2007 season.

 

            "Today was another good win for us," UNI head coach Sachin Kirtane said. "Now we have to prepare ourselves for Eastern Illinois tomorrow. They are a tough team and we will have to raise our game for that meet."

 

            The Panthers are back in action Feb. 24th at the Black Hawk Tennis Club where they will take on Eastern Illinois at 12 p.m.
