Final Stats

The Panthers were led by sophomore Meghana Paritala (Secunderabad, India) who went 2-0 winning at the No. 1 singles spot and pairing up with Meredith Esbeck (West Des Moines, Iowa) for a win at No. 3 doubles.

Taynara Moreas (Santos, Brazil), Mariana Muraca (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Esbeck also took home wins for the Panthers in singles. In No. 2 doubles Muraca and Carolina Hannes defeated the duo from Creighton 8-3.

The Panthers won six of nine matches to move to 1-1 in the conference and 11-2 overall. UNI takes on Illinois State Friday at Black Hawk Tennis Club.
