University of Northern Iowa head women's tennis coach Sachin Kirtane has signed Jessica Kunzelmann to a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the Panthers in 2008-09.

Kunzelmann (Bollschweil, Germany) is a top junior player and she has been ranked 20th in the 18 and under division in Germany. She has also been ranked as high as No. 190 in the open division in Germany.

"We are thrilled to have Jessica be apart of our tennis program here at UNI," Kiratne said. "She has consistently been ranked high in the rankings in Germany and has a lot of experience in tournaments and match play. She will help us a lot as we keep moving forward to try and win a Missouri Valley Conference championship."
