Women's Tennis Adds Signee From Belgium
University of Northern Iowa head women's tennis coach Sachin Kirtane announced the signing of Alix Bex from Belgium to a National Letter-of-Intent to play for the Panthers this fall. Bex is a 6'2", left-hander who will look to crack the Panthers' lineup in the 2009-2010 season. "Alix is a top-ranked junior player in Belgium with extensive tournament experience," Kirtane said. "She has also trained at one of the top academies in Spain throughout high school. Adding a left-hander gives us a different look in the lineup."
