High School: Five-sport athlete... Was a state medalist in track all four years... Named track, cross country and softball team captain as a senior... Top point leader in the history of North Fayette's women's track and field team... Enjoyed academic success as well, finishing third of 87 in her class... Honored with the Academic Achievement Award, Principal Leadership Award and Iowa State Bar Association Award... Student Council President. Personal: Daughter of Eric and Kayleen Nesrik... Majoring in biology... Born 2/24/86... Enjoys playing piano, sports and putting together puzzles in her free time... Best lesson ever learned is "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again"... Chose UNI because she loves the campus and it's close to home. |
