Women's Track
2004: Outdoor - Finished sixth in the 100 meters at the UNI Twilight, clocking in at 13.22... At the Central Invitational, placed sixth with a 16-3 3/4 mark in the long jump and 13th for her 27.62 time in the 200 meter dash... Member of the 4x400 meter relay team that took top honors at the UNI Twilight with their 48.89 time... Took eighth place at the Simpson Twilight for her performance in the 200 meters (27.65)... Finished seventh in the MUSCO Invitational 100-meter dash in 13.52 seconds. Indoor - Redshirted. High School: Member of the 2003 Iowa All-Star Elite track team... Two-time second team all-state track... Track captain in 2003... Four-year letter winner in track and softball... Two-time runner-up in the 4x100 meters at the state track meet.... Graduated Summa Cum Laude from New Hampton High School in 2003... Four-year member of the Academic Honor Roll. Personal: Daughter of Leann and Bob Vorwald... Also recruited by Loras, Upper Iowa, Central, Mt. Mercy and Valparaiso... Chose UNI because it's a great school and has a great track program. |
