Results

Cedar Falls - UNI concluded day 1 of the women's pentathlon events today, January 28, in the UNI-Dome. Former Kansas State athlete, Austra Skujyte, competing for Nike, won the women's Gold pentathlon competition with 4477 points. Liz Roehrig (Minnesota) finished in second with 3891 points.

UNI's Liz Bradfield (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Cedar Falls) finished the gold division in 10th place and Megan Vorwald (New Hampton, Iowa/New Hampton) captured seventh.

The conclusion of the men's heptathlon events, including the pole vault, 1,000 meters and 60-meter hurdles will conclude tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 29) starting at 10:00 a.m. Field events will also begin at 10:00 a.m., with running events scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
