Cedar Falls, Iowa -

The University of Northern Iowa women's track and field team took six titles today, five in field events. Morgen Edwards picked up two of them in the weight throw (54-04.00) and shot put (44-08.25) while Mary Egbo Egbo jumped for first place in the triple jump. Kayleen Popp defended her home with ajump of 11-11.75 in the pole vault and freshman Crystal Hansen cleared 5-06.50 for first place in the high jump.

The women's 4x400 A team of Krystle Cordes, Ravin Henry, Lynnette Wilson and Angie German sealed avictory in 3:48.26. Senior German also ran 2:14.10 in the 800-meter run, placing second.

The Panthers travel to Ames next weekend and then return home on Feb. 18 to host the UNI-Dome Open.
