The Panthers concluded competition today at the MVC Indoor Championships in Carbondale, Ill. UNI men took first place with 152 points, and Southern Illinois won on the women's side with 128 points.

Senior Angie German finished the 800 meters in third place, clocking in at 2:10.00, a personal best and the second-best time in the UNI record books.

Randi Burns finished the 5K in 17:43.19, placing seventh. Kayleen Popp (Haven, Kan./Haven) earned all-conference honors when she finished third in the pole vault, clearing 11-5 ¾ and Morgen Edwards finished fourth in the shot put with a 47-5 ¾ distance.

Crystal Hanson (Roland, Iowa/Roland-Story) finished the day with a fifth-place finish in the high jump, clearing 5-5 ¾
