The a number of UNI's track and field athletes traveled to Indianoloa, Iowa today (April 29) to compete at the Simpson Twilight.

For the women, Megan Vorwald had a good day, finishing fourth in the 100 meters in 12.69 and fourth in the 200 meters in 26.62. Krystle Cordes managed a runner-up finish in the 400 meters, crossing the finish line in 1:00.69, and Quinn Vermie finished third in the 1,500 meters with a 4:49.34 time.

Cali Lyons ended the day with a third place in the 100-meter hurdles with a 15.11 time. Renae Walker, UNI's only field athlete to compete in the events, tied for sixth place in the high jump after clearing 4-11 ¾.

The Panthers will continue competition at the Drake Relays tomorrow (April 30) in Des Moines Iowa.
