Women's Volleyball
Former UNI standout middle blocker Stephanie Germann is in her second season as a volunteer assistant for the Panthers. Germann played for the Panthers from 2001-05. Her senior season, she earned first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors, averaging 2.62 kills and 1.20 blocks per game, while hitting .281. She ended her career ranked in the top 20 all-time at UNI in both block assists, total blocks and blocks per game. A native of LeMars, Iowa, Germann received her bachelor's degree from UNI in 2005 in psychology, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in mental health counseling. In addition to her work with the volleyball team, she also works at the Cedar Falls Recreation Center. She plans to become a licensed counselor upon graduation and hopes to work at a university counseling center. |
