Evansville, Ind. - Junior outside hitter Rachael Tink (Waterloo, Iowa) had a match-high 13 kills to lead the University of Northern Iowa to a 3-0 win over Evansville tonight. Game scores were 30-24, 30-24, 30-22.

Tink hit .357 (13-3-28) and added 10 digs for the Panthers, who won their fourth straight match and improved to 11-6 overall, 5-2 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Evansville fell to 8-10, 2-5 in the MVC.

Freshman middle blocker Danielle Brazda (Omaha, Neb.) also was in double-digits in kills with 12, and added a team-high seven blocks. UNI, which ranks sixth in the nation in blocking at 3.37 blocks per game, had 14 blocks on the night. The Panthers hit .270 as a team (53-19-126), while holding the Purple Aces to just .022 hitting (34-31-139) for the match. Evansville hit -.119 (8-13-42) in the final game.

The Panthers had four players in double-figures in digs on the night, led by senior setter Erin Hirsch (Waterloo, Iowa) with 16. Hirsch also had 49 assists on the night.

UNI next plays on Friday (Oct. 15), when Drake comes to the West Gym in a Missouri Valley Conference match. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
