Cedar Falls, Iowa -

The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team will head to Europe from May 9-20 for a spring trip. The NCAA allows teams to travel overseas once every four years.

The Panthers will depart on May 9, and arrive in Prague, Czech Rebublic on May 10. They will play two matches in Prague, against Slavia Praha (May 11) and Olymp Praha (May 12).

The team then departs for a day of sight-seeing in Vienna, Austria, before heading to Maribor, Slovenia. UNI will face Nova KBM in Maribor on May 15, and then face the Slovenian Junior National Team in Kanmik on May 16. UNI then moves on to Pula, Croatia, where it will face OK Pula on May 18 in its final match.

UNI then returns to Italy, this time traveling to Venice, returning home on May 20. The Panthers will be blogging about their trip periodically, and you can read about what is happening here.
