Volleyball Places Four on All-Conference Teams
Nov. 22, 2006 St. Louis, Mo. - Junior middle blocker Danielle Brazda (Omaha, Neb./Millard West) earned second team honors for the second consecutive year and newcomer outside hitter Shannon Aschoff (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny) was placed on the all-freshman team. Belzung ranks second in the league in service aces with 0.42 per game and 115 overall. She also ranks third in assists, averaging 11.89 per game and leading UNI with 1,368. Humpal has tallied a .290 hitting percentage in 32 games, ranking fourth in the MVC. She also ranks third in blocking with 1.44 per game. With 3.63 kills per game and 0.37 service aces per game, Rowen ranks fourth in the conference in both categories. Rowen leads the Panthers with 417 kills, as well. Brazda leads the Valley in blocks and is 10th nationally at 1.61 per game. Brazda also ranks second in UNI's all-time block assists with 489. In just her first season on the court, Aschoff tallied 168 kills (2.40/game) and 41 blocks.
