It is great to have spring finally arrive.  I know all of us at UNI are excited about this time of year and what it brings for our coaches and student-athletes. 

We are well underway in our planning for the coming fall sports season.  It could be another special year for UNI football in 2007. We have an exciting and challenging football schedule ahead with a great home schedule along with our game at Iowa State September 8th.  We are hopeful that you will be able to be in Ames for that important game, and make sure you get your tickets from the UNI Ticket Office.

I want to personally thank you for being a past supporter of UNI athletics. We are hopeful that you will make the decision to come to more of our games this fall and would consider becoming a season ticket holder for at least one of our sports, if you have not already.  We have some attractive packages for you to consider including our new $40 Red Zone football season tickets package and a limited number of seats remaining in the McLeod Center for men's basketball among other choices.

The first season in the McLeod Center was amazing, and next year in the new arena will be a special one for the Panther men's basketball team.  The home schedule includes a three game exempt tournament in November that will bring Massachusetts and Northern Illinois to Cedar Falls, and in December the Iowa Hawkeyes will make their first visit to the new facility.  With the addition of five home games to this coming year's schedule we have increased season ticket prices to include not only the tournament and Iowa in the arena but also exhibition games.

Your support as a season ticket holder would mean a great deal to us. Without your support it would not be possible to have an athletic program like ours.  Your financial support and enthusiastic attendance at games is critical to our success.
